German pianist who was known as Monsieur 100,000 Volts because of his energetic and electrifying performances.
He was taught by Christa Holzweißig and Amadeus Webersinke in Dresden. He counted Malcolm Fraser as his major influence and mentor.
He played the European premiere of Piano Concerto Four Parables by Paul Schoenfield.
He was born in Oschatz, Saxony. In 2012, his hometown would induct him into their Book of Honour.
He recorded the complete solo piano works of Johannes Brahms for OehmsClassics.
