Alpine skier who won a gold medal in the Super-G at the 2010 Winter Olympics and won bronze in the Super-G at the 2009 World Championships.
She won Super-G gold in 2003 at the Junior World Ski Championships.
She made her World Cup debut in March 2004.
She was born in Schwarzach im Pongau, Austria.
Lindsey Vonn took bronze at the 2010 Olympics Super-G event that Fischbacher won.
