Hungarian-born cartoonist, most known for his epic cover illustration of Lord of the Flies. In 2009, his work was exhibitioned at the Rencontres d'Arles Festival.
In 1933, he graduated from the illustrious Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest.
He was once a member of the exclusive Alliance Graphique International.
He was brought up in Austria.
He and artist Sonia Delaunay both studied at the Academy of Fine Arts.
