Canadian sculptor who created abstract steel sculptures like the Holocaust Memorial, and had exhibitions everywhere from New York to Spain.
He moved to Spain to become a painter in 1967 and didn't turn to sculpting until 1969.
He was one of five artists chosen to receive the Francis J. Greenburger Foundation Award, presented at the Guggenheim Museum in 1987.
He was raised by his mother, who encouraged his artistic ambitions.
He is a their sculptor like the American Richard Serra.
