She fractured her skull in 1998 after a jump ended badly.
She and Cody Hay dropped out of the 2006 Cup of Russia ice-skating competition because her skates were lost by the airline.
She married Cody Hay, her figure-skating partner.
She was in the Canadian competition show, "Battle of the Blades," the theme song to which was written by musician Bryan Adams.
