Famous for being the father of America's Got Talent fan favorite and pop singer Evie Clair. In September 2017, he passed away from colon cancer complications days before his daughter competed in the finals of America's Got Talent's 12th season.
He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1998 and completed his Mormon mission during that time. He practiced as a Mormon minister in Arizona before being diagnosed with cancer in 2016.
He frequently appeared during the 12th season of America's Got Talent with his daughter. He was placed on life support the day of the semi-final results show.
His wife's name was Hilary. He shared five total children with her.
His support of his daughter was frequently praised by America's Got Talent judge Mel B.
