She was very involved in her high school's drama department before dropping out at age 17 to pursue modeling.

In 2017, she began dating Elon Musk, but the two separated later that same year. In late 2019, she began dating Bianca Butti. Her daughter Oonagh Paige was born on April 8, 2021.
