Amanda Brown
Novelist
American fiction writer who is best known for Legally Blonde, a novel that spawned both a film and a Broadway musical. Her later works include Family Trust and School of Fortune.
After graduating from Arizona State University, she was admitted to Stanford Law School. She never graduated from Stanford, but her experience as a law student inspired her their novel, Legally Blonde.
In 2013, Brown's third novel, School of Fortune, was in development to become a film starring Ashley Tisdale and Julie Andrews.
She settled in Los Angeles, California with her husband and two daughters.
Reese Witherspoon played the role of Elle Woods in the film version of Legally Blonde.
