She starred in Clueless in 1995 after gaining recognition for appearing in three of Aerosmith's music videos.
She dated Benicio Del Toro in the 1990s. She married Christopher Jarecki in 2005, and the couple welcomed a son named Bear in 2011. They later divorced in May of 2018 after nearly 20 years of being together.
She made her acting debut in The Wonder Years, which starred Fred Savage.
