Known best for founding and heading Pakistan's Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) program, this businessman and environmental expert also served as the Asian director of the Climate and Development Knowledge Network.
Before earning a graduate degree in international relations from the University of Miami, he studied at a number of other institutions of higher learning, including Australian National University and Quaid-e-Azam University.
His LEAD organization was created to ensure environmentally sound economic development.
He was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan.
He and Faisal Qureshi both became successful Pakistani entrepreneurs.
