He grew up in Sincelejo, Colombia and went to school at Institucion Educativa Técnico Industrial Antonio Prieto.
Apart from his bodybuilding career, he is a DJ and producer.
He has been in a relationship with fellow bodybuilder Marie Charlotte.
He has made public appearances with fellow bodybuilder Fernando Chala.
