Avant garde sculptor and painter who was also associated with the cubist movement for his use of geometric shapes.
He held his first art exhibition in 1910 at the Salon des Independants, along with well known artist Pablo Picasso.
He held his first solo exhibition at the Museum Folkwang in Germany in 1912.
His younger brother Eugene attended Kyiv Art School when he was young.
He was a contemporary of Aleksandra Ekster.
