Alex Wood

Pitcher who began his major league career with the Atlanta Braves in 2013. He joined the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2015 and helped the team reach the 2017 World Series. In 2018, he'd be traded to the Cincinnati Reds.
He was named the 2009 North Carolina Class 4A Player of the Year at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He played collegiately at University of Georgia before being drafted in 2012.
In August 2013, he posted the third-lowest ERA of any rookie since 1955.
His birth name is Robert Alexander Wood. His parents are Richard and Carol Wood. In 2017, he married Suzanna Villarreal.
He was traded to the Cincinnati Reds in 2018 along with Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig.
