He spent the majority of his 2010 season with Tampa's Class-A affiliate the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
He made his major league debut pitching against the Miami Marlins on May 30, 2013 as a member of the Rays.
He lives with his wife, Ironelis, and their daughter Melanny.
He played alongside Evan Longoria as a member of the Rays during the 2013 MLB season.
