American actor known for roles in the 1986 film Highlander, the 1987 film The Fourth Protocol, and the 1989 movie See No Evil, Hear No Evil.
During World War II he joined the United States Navy and would later become a stage manager upon leaving the military. He made his Broadway debut in Plain and Fancy in 1955.
He appeared in the films Glory and The Long Kiss Goodnight in minor roles.
He was married and had two daughters with June North named Alexandra and Victoria.
He starred alongside Leslie Nielsen in the short-lived television series Police Squad!
