Alan Longmuir

Bassist for The Bay City Rollers, a 1970s pop band. Also an actor, he starred in a 1980s film called Burning Rubber.
He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland at the Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavilion Hospital.
After allegedly trying to commit suicide, he was replaced as bassist for The Bay City Rollers.
His younger brother, Derek Longmuir, was a founding member and drummer for The Bay City Rollers.
He was replaced in The Bay City Rollers by fellow bassist Ian Mitchell.
