Acclaimed Broadway designer who was known for her bold design choices.
She attended the Yale Drama School. Her first producing gig was A Year with Frog and Toad, which was based on her father's children's books.
She designed sets for The Hard Nut on PBS' Great Performances: Dance in America in 1991 and An American Tragedy in 2005 for the Metropolitan Opera.
She was married to Mark Linn-Baker from 1995 to 2009. Her father was author Arnold Lobel.
She designed the set for the Houston Grand Opera's performance of Nixon in China, which was based on President Richard Nixon's 1972 visit to China.
