Estonian politician who was the Prime Minister of Estonia for three days, from July 28th, 1920 to July 30th, 1920. He also served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs as Estonia's Envoy to the Soviet Union.
He studied law at the Tartu, Saint Petersburg and Leipzig universities.
He was arrested by the Soviet secret police and sent to a prison camp during the onset of World War II.
He was raised orthodox in Kulbisaare farmstead, Estonia.
He was President of Estonia while Woodrow Wilson was President of the United States.
