YA author who rocketed to fame after his debut novel, More Happy Than Not, became a New York Times bestseller. He would go on to release the followup novel History Is All You Left Me.
His early career was spent as a children's bookseller, literary marketing assistant, and as a book reviewer for children's and young adult novels.
His third novel, They Both Die at the End, was set for release in September 2017.
His boyfriend, Keegan, is a designer.
In January 2017, he was joined at a Los Angeles book event by Jennifer Niven and Natasha Polis.
