She began singing in church. In July of 2018, she won the competition Teen Star.
In addition to singing, she can play the ukulele, drums and piano.
She is from Leyland, Lancashire, England. Her parents are Gladys and Karl, and she has a brother named Karel.
She originally auditioned as a soloist with a rendition of "Bed of Lies" by Nicki Minaj featuring Skylark Grey.
