2011 Pro Bowl tight end for the New England Patriots whose career ended abruptly in 2013 when he was accused of and then convicted for the murder of Odin Lloyd. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole in 2015.
He won a BCS National Championship with the Florida Gators in 2009.
The Patriots drafted him in the 4th round of the 2010 NFL draft.
He was in high school when his father, Dennis Hernandez, passed away. He had a daughter named Avielle with his former fiancée Shayanna Jenkins.
He and Rob Gronkowski made up the most productive tight end duo in NFL history.
