Aaron Dessner
Songwriter
Singer and songwriter who gained international recognition as a founder of the indie rock band The National. He was nominated for the album of the year Grammy Award in 2021 for his work co-writing Taylor Swift's album Folklore.
He helped create The National in 1998 with his brother Bryce. They released their 1st album in 2001.
The National's 2013 album Trouble Will Find Me was nominated for the Grammy Award for best alternative album. He co-founded the Eaux Claires music festival.
He has three children with his wife.
He has played in the duo Big Red Machine alongside Bon Iver's Justin Vernon.
